Stars and Stripes Open Day
3rd & 4th July
Join us for an exciting day full of amazing craft demonstrations
To celebrate the vast range of crafting products that we source from America, we have decided to hold our next open day on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th July 2009 - once again honouring American Independence day.
Exciting new Product Launch
Following the recent launch of Clarity Stamps on Ideal World, we are delighted to introduce a selection of their stamps to the Graphicus shop. Elusive Images and Clarity Stamps both benefit from a shared design team member, Lesley, and she will be sharing her extensive experience of working with these very high quality clear stamps.
Unique new Papers
We have a lovely new range of "Invisibles", papers and chipboard with a difference from Heidi Swapp. These white papers are printed with beautiful patterns in a clear varnish which means you can create beautiful resist effects with Glimmer Mists, inkpads, paints, etc. Come along and see some of the gorgeous cards and books that I have made with these or check out the Graphicus Blog for a sneek preview.
Don't forget to check out my blog for lots of inspiration and the occasional black cat!
Exciting new Nesties
Annette will be working with the latest Nestabilities and Impressabilities as well as the usual array of cutting and embossing gadgets such as Cricut, Cuttlebug and the Slice. We are hoping we will have new Cricut cartridges delivered in time for the open day as well. We will also have some of the older Cricut cartridges at seriously reduced prices during the two days.
Get inspired with Lynn
Lynn will be creating masterpieces with the melt pot and has some exciting plans for some of the new products winging their way from the USA. She also mentioned something about the Bind-it-All and new masks - can't wait to see what she comes up with!
More Clearance Bargains
Our clearance section has been restocked as we bring more new products into the shop and we have included individual unmounted stamp rummage bins as well as many more bargains.
We are really looking forward to a fun day - hope to see you there!

Sat Nav Users
The postcode reference point is in Montalbo road and if you follow your Sat Nav, it will probably take you to Castle Vets around the corner from the Enterprise Park. Unfortunately there is no through road to our unit from there, so you are advised to look at the map and make sure you come onto Harmire Enterprise Park, rather than turning into Montalbo Road.
From the North (A688)
Follow the A688 from Bishop Auckland/West Auckland, past Raby Castle and through the village of Staindrop, to Barnard Castle. As you enter Barnard Castle, you will pass Teesdale School on your right and reach a mini-roundabout with a Jet petrol station on your left.
At the mini-roundabout, turn right towards the town centre. After about 400 yards, the road into town bends to the left and there is a large side-road on the right (B6278, Harmire Road), signposted for Middleton-in-Teesdale. There are also signposts for the Police Station, Harmire Enterprise Park and Teesdale Sports Centre.
Turn right onto Harmire Road and continue for about half a mile, passing the large GSK (Glaxo Smithkline) building on your right and the Red Well Inn on your left. Just after the Red Well, turn left into Harmire Enterprise Park. Follow the road around as it bends to the left and you will see The Carrosserie Company on your left. Turn left into the access road beside the Carrosserie Company. Graphicus and Elusive Images occupy the separate building at the far end of this access road.
From the East (A67)
Follow the A67 from Darlington, past Piercebridge, Gainford and Winston, to Barnard Castle. When you enter Barnard Castle, you will reach a mini-roundabout with a Jet petrol station on your right. Continue straight over the mini-roundabout, heading towards the town centre.
After about 400 yards, turn right onto the B6278 Harmire Road and continue for about half a mile, passing the large GSK (Glaxo Smithkline) building on your right and the Red Well Inn on your left. Turn left into the access road beside the Carrosserie Company. Graphicus and Elusive Images occupy the separate building at the far end of this access road.
From the South (A66)
From the A66, proceed towards Barnard Castle and pass through the town centre following signs for Darlington or Middleton-in-Teesdale. As you are driving out from the town centre, you will pass a pub called The Beaconsfield on your right. Shortly after this, you will see the B6278 Harmire Road on your left, signposted for Middleton-in-Teesdale.
